Partnership Communities: Rishon LeZion

UJC MetroWest's partnership with the city began in 1978 with Project Renewal, which focused on the disadvantaged neighborhood of Ramat Eliahu, now called Neve Eliyahu. Although Project Renewal ended years ago, UJC MetroWest maintains an active relationship with the neighborhood.  more

Healing center director takes position at CLAL

The founding director of the JCC MetroWest MetroWest Jewish Health and Healing Center is stepping down to develop a new ecumenical project at the New York-based CLAL-The National Jewish Center for Jewish Learning and Leadership. The healing center offers pastoral counseling, support groups, workshops, and a visiting nurse program.  more
